When people think of fuel-inefficiency, the vehicles that most of the time comes to mind are the big SUVs. But not all SUVs deserve to be marked as fuel inefficient as you can read on a article publish by CarandDriver.com.

People that buy SUVs are not only concerned with power, cargo capacity and off-road ability. Today the fuel efficiency is much more important than it was some couple of years ago.

So CarandDriver.com compiled a list of the 10 most Fuel-Efficient SUVs in the US. The list is based on the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) miles-per-gallon ratings for city and highway travel.

# Eighth: 2008 Toyota RAV4
# Ninth:2008 Honda CR-V
# The C/D Solution: 2009 Volkswagen Jetta TDI SportWagen
