RhinoTuning goes Carbon Neutral

tuning green RhinoTuning the UK’s fastest growing vehicle personalisation and tuning company today announced that by 1st August 2008 all its operations and products will be carbon neutral. Rhino have led the market with in many innovations and Carbon Neutral status is another step in this process. Carbon neutral status will be achieved by a carbon offset project supporting various schemes around the world in the third and developing world.

Rhino will offer an offset product on every conversion sold, in real terms this will mean a Rhino customer will be uniquely able to drive a carbon neutral 600bhp Porsche Cayenne. MD James Cowham said ‘Guilt free tuning is now here; cars and tuning take a battering for various ills but by buying a car or conversion from us a customer can take comfort in the knowledge they have done their bit for the environment’ he added ‘ we are not ecomentalists but we love cars and recognise that some customers want the excitement of what we build but are conflicted with the issues around the environment, this way they get to have the best of both worlds!’. Rhino’s offset projects include Nicaragua Brick Kilns, Low-Smoke Cooking in Sudan, Philippines Mini-Taxi Retrofits and Sustainable Tree-Planting

Offsets are available on all products and over the coming months each product will have its CO2 rating added and the cost of the offset. Rhino customers will be able to decide whether to offset and to what extent, each of Rhino’s vehicle conversions will come with the option to offset for 3 years. Being green just got sexy!
